@PhoneBoy I looked hard for a detail that would tell me this photo is from 2018 rather than 1968. I was ready to give up, until I zoomed in and spotted the 4-wheeled spinner luggage.
@macgenie it’s also a Boeing 767, which didn’t enter service until the 1980s.
@PhoneBoy I wondered about that. I’m not that advanced in planespotting. Can you tell from the photo alone?
@macgenie from that photo it would be hard to tell. That said the Delta livery from the 1960s and 1970s was a bit different then.
@PhoneBoy I feel like that lasted until the mid-’90s until it was completely gone…that and the ’80s United “rainbow” livery were pretty nice.
@ecschwarz it’s entirely possible it did because they didn’t repaint planes right away. I preferred United’s old livery, and service.
@PhoneBoy Maybe I’m just being nostalgic, but i prefer the old livery for Delta and United and American. And i miss PanAm and PSA. Especially PSA.
